What is Fabric and Carpet Protection?
Fabric Protection is a professionally applied deep-penetrating protective
finish for fabric furniture, carpets, rugs, and other fabrics. When applied
correctly Fabric Protection penetrates deep into the fiber to form a molecular
“lock” inside the fiber. Fabric Protection is great because it effectively
resists soil & stains and makes cleaning MUCH more effective.
How does protector work?
Fluorochemical treatments are designed to improve carpet and fabric fibers’
resistance to oil- and water-based stains, as well as soiling from everyday
use. It will not change the look, feel or breathability of fabrics or
carpets.
How long does the protection from these products last?
Under “normal” conditions and with reasonable care, Protectors will provide
long lasting benefits. Victoria Carpet Care Cleaning Specialists research has
shown that protectors are very durable to foot traffic. However, performance
will diminish somewhat over time with each hot water extraction cleaning. For
optimal soil and stain protection, Victoria Carpet Care recommends that they be
reapplied after every hot water extraction.
Why doesn’t water “bead up” on some carpets treated with
protector?
Some carpet fibers may not exhibit the beading characteristic typically
linked to protector. This can be caused by spaces between loosely woven carpet
pile. This does not affect the stain and soil resistance of the protector
application. The liquid can be easily blotted up even if it does not bead
up.
Does protector “waterproof” carpet?
Protector is not intended to be used as a waterproofing agent for carpet.
However, it will provide improved resistance to water-based substances.
Does protector contain formaldehyde?
No, there is no formaldehyde in any products Victoria Carpet Care uses to

Aqua Green Carpet Looks Amazing! Carpet Care, Upholstery and Area Rug Cleaning: Victoria BC
Just recently the Cleaning Specialists from Victoria Carpet Care cleaned a
homeowners aqua colored carpets and set of stairs in a home located in the
WestShore area of Victoria.
